Virtual Courses Offered at Fox Chapel Area High School

Fox Chapel Area High School is offering several elective and core courses online as virtual experiences to 11th and 12th grade students. Designed and taught by Fox Chapel Area High School teachers, these courses have the academic rigor as a traditional Fox Chapel Area course, only they are delivered online to accommodate the diverse needs, goals, and schedules of our students.
Moodle is now FC VIRTUAL. Online courses will use Moodle as part of our attempt to better meet the needs of students. Please add your comments about what you'd like to see as part of our Virtual School program.
In 2009 we redesigned our Moodle site. we also added new features including "My Moodle," a personalized and customizable start page once you log in to the site. On that page, you will get a list of the recent activity in your courses without having to check each course individually.

All courses have been turned off for the beginning of the school year. If you plan to reuse a previous course, you must turn it back on - all prior content is still available. To turn your course back on, log in to your course, under Administration on the left, select Settings. Scroll down to Availability and select from the drop down box, "This course is available to students."
Reset Your Courses

The Reset function under Administration within your courses allows you to empty a course of user data, while retaining the activities and other settings. Please be warned when choosing items you will delete your chosen user data from this course forever!
